You've got an oiled pod, doesn't matter what AFM you have they will fuck it up, replacement cost of mine is over $700 but it still gets dirty with a HKS or std panel filter.
Another thing you can try is to wriggle all the electrical plugs with the motor idling to see if you have a bad connection somewhere.
