I personally am a Canon fan but out of those two options, without doubt I would go for teh Nikon.

My experience with Olympus Point and shoot cameras is terrible. I hate them with a passion.

The Nikon is definitely the better camera out of those two and even if you did have canon listed, most people would still say Nikon anyway.
