Hey Eric, well that's the thing mate .. A few weeks after a good clean, I still get a very fine haze of sooty deposits on the boot, and i am not getting awesome fuel economy - So it's not running lean while cruising around, but that's not to say it isn't while on boost.

Oh and when it cuts out there is no loss in power to electrical devices.
