Take it to subaru.

For future reference, best way to swap the battery is...
1. Clip "spare" battery in parallel across your current battery.
2. Disconnect current battery. Spare battery will keep car (brant) powered.
3. Hook up new battery, secure in car.
4. Disconnect spare.

That way the car never actually loses power and the brant will never complain.
This is of course assuming you have not killed the battery already or had it go
flat somewhere. Always best to replace it when starting get a bit laboured.
