yup, then the AFM is your prob it controls the air/fuel mix so it can be pretty dangerous to be driving around with a dodgy one.
you can pick up a new one from a wrx workshop, maximum motorsport in malaga or revlimit motorsport in carlisle.

you can swap it yourself if you feel like fiddlin, just a plug and two screws is all it takes. pardon the pun. otherwise they can do it for you.
will cost somewhere around $200+ and the car will run a million times better than it is now.

i have a spare here, not sure how good/bad it is, looks clean... free to a good home if you feel like testing.
