I wouldn't immediately blame the pads for that without some more investigation.
Did you inspect the machined finish when the pads were first installed? Were they machined on or off car? Have inner and outer surfaces on both sides resulted in the same deep scoring? It almost looks like the pad was fitted back to front. (don't laugh, I've seen it more than once)
