Thread Hijack:

I just bought more ram for my laptop, it previously had 1gb. Its running vista home basic and i bought 2 x 2gb sticks and it wouldn't run it, just kept getn blue error screen and it restarts itself.

Is this like the XP service pack issue setting a max of 2gb? Or is vista just set to only take 2gb?? What's the fix?
