I am in two minds about the baseball bat idea, always the fear they will get it off me then I'm fucked. Fortunately tho I have some great neighbours that are only a phone call and a few seconds away. Luckily they didnt get in, in the end. Police brought their dog out and it picked up a scent and puppy and officer apparently went for a trip around my neighbourhood over fences chasing the smell..... I'll hear later today if they got anything...... god i hope they did and I hope that puppy bit hard!!!
