OSX Snow Leopard (out in 08 June '09) will allow direct addressing of more than 4GB of RAM (without using PAE), as well as full 64 bit execution of 64 bit apps.
Also Snow Leopard will be a far bigger speed increase for Core 2 Duo MAC users, system wide than for users of Windows 7 due to the way overlapping Virtual memory is used with 32 bit system apps in a MAC running Leopard.
