if they targeted commodores and falcons then how would the australian car manufacturers survive? the second and third generation owners of these vehicles is what keeps them going.

suabru's are an easy target, especially now that the early girls are so affordable (as low as $8k) and will out run almost any of the local product. It is getting very easy/cheap to go fast (well faster than the older cars used to be). In those days they had a supercar scare, now most of our cars would be at home, parked and cooled down by the time they hit the first corner.

veru easy to 'stereotype' someone because of what they own and drive. I have spent 6 years trying to promote a 'good' image of WRX's and subaru's and very little has been written about it in the local press, yet one 'incident' and all of a sudden we get labelled.

PS: sick of seeing the footage of the yellow skyline doing burnouts at scarbs from about 2003/2004, bloody hoons
