Being the home expert you are just thought i'd correct you on a few bits here incase others take this for gospel.
a) Rio is a car made by Kia .... your thinking of reo bar. Going by your pics you put slab mesh in. 2 completely different products.
b) No need to have 100mm around your whole house. Thats over kill. 80mm with mesh is more than adequate for a patio and garden shed area.
