Guys, for those of you who use (or have used) standard OEM panel filters, how often do you find the need to replace them?

I've had two services on my Betty so far. The air filter was replaced at the first service, (~8,000km) as it was fairly filfthy. Coming from Victoria (ex-demo) that was hardly surprising. However it was replaced again in a recent service, after only 7,500km. I would have thought they should last twice as long as that.

If the standard filters clog up that badly so quickly, I might order something else that can at least be cleaned a couple of times before the need to replace it.
