Same but mine connects when I approach my house from way down the street! (I should really put the gain on the wireless antenna down a little)

Golding - the official 3.0 comes out in three days, I wouldn't waste any time on it until you've tried the official firmware. Would be interesting to see if anyone else is having the same problem though, I googled it quickly but had no luck.
