just thinking that if you are using a "turbo" bonnet (with the scoop) that the hot air is going to come out the vent and then go back in the scoop.

The hot air that comes out from the vent will be rapidly cooled imo when it exists. So if there is any air going back through the scoop i think it would be close to the same air temp.
The
WRC cars still have a functional scoop as this is where the air filter sits. So mustnt be much of a problem imo..
