You can't re-sync the wiimote in systemmenu cos thats what's corrupt. There is no system menu that works on the machine. Need a system menu on it in order to fix it. Can't get one one till they release a new version as it won't install a system menu unless it detects that the system menu you're installing is newer than the one on the machine.
Keep looking. I've still got another week of low bandwidth so I'm not gonna be downloading anything to try till that's sorted.

I'm assuming that when it finally gets a new system menu on it that'll include the ability to re-sync the wiimote. It "should" detect and install a new system menu automatically from a disk that has one. I'm only guessing though from what I've read.
