Diamond, right now its still a stock ej205 sump setup, being a my00 gc8 i am assuming it still has the factory oil/water heat exchanger.

so what i need is a large capacity sump with baffles?

Stace, are you running a accumulator in your car? would u say its a better setup then sump+baffles? (in terms of protecting engine against oil starvation)

i am well aware that pushing a stockish ej205 on a track is tempting fate somewhat, but i am hoping with the right supporting equipment it should be able to survive more then one track outing
