Me and a mate managed to do my front on stands and removing the right front wheel. Never touched any of the subframe or diff plate etc... A little careful maneuvering ( rotating mostly ) and you can slide it straight out through where the rear of the front tyre would be sitting if it was still on.

Saved a heap of time.
