Sounds like you might have managed to capture it in time. Hopefully so. Dont worry excessively until you get the word though...
They are sturdy little buggers at the best of times. Was it a pipe that blew off/split or something? Because im thinking you would have noticed a puddle of coolant on the deck before you set off.
But yeah - wait it out. Worst case scenario, replace said broken bits with better ones...
