You can advance the timing a bit, that was the basic and relatively cheap batch of mods the pulsar boys used to run on the sr. Under-drive pulley kit, Extractors and exhaust, Air box/induction Mods and then advancing the timing. Bear in mind that if you do this you will definitely have to run the 98 fuels.
