I use to live/work up North in Jigalong and Punmu, which are Aboriginal only towns in the Pilbara on Martu land. In short, you need a permit to go there if you are not Martu Aboriginal. It was such a shame to see how easy going and happy the abos were in these towns. Absolutely NO alcohol, no sniffing, no drugs, no fighting no shit. Never had to lock my car up or the unit I was living in. We would go out hunting on a daily basis for a feed and would have a good yarn and a cuppa tea all the time....
....then I came back to Perth and started hating coons again
