In all reality what are you going to get for the car with no motor? There was that guy on Rexnet that was trying to offload a stock (except for some aftermarket rims) 06 sti minus engine (approx 25km's from memory) and could not get a bite @ $23k. In the end I think he decided to put a new motor in himself.

Absolute best case would surely be that you got about $25k with no engine. I would of thought an 06 sti motor would be about $8k by the time you fitted / tuned etc. Surely you would get more than $33k for it with a new motor?
