ok there is a small amount of oil collected in the bottom of the catch can and it appears to be plumbed correctly (installed by xspeed). Left the car over night then removed the silicone joiner which goes to the throttle body to find a small puddle of oil just waiting to be sucked up by my engine on start up. i can safely say that was causing my cloud on cold start up...

what’s more is I’m fairly confidant the stock vf39 has indeed shat the seals and needs replacing... I’ve done a bit of research on possible upgrades but I’m still unsure.

GTPSO2 or vf22 is my thinking atm can be had for about the same cost.. but will the hybrids like GTpumps and bloutch etc be reliable enough as to not justify the $2600
