Heres some more pics from the engine bay shave..
A very thin layer of filler is going over the weleded plates then will be sanded back to make sure its nice and flat and smooth. Then a special primer will go on hopefully tomorrow some time. More pics when that happens.
I was told that there were around 90 holes which had to be welded or plated. The whole inside of the dash including the air conditioner boxes had to come out to make sure that it didnt catch fire from the sparks.
