Not true... I run a 3" system with no cats (not even a shell), no resonater and a cannon muffler with 4" tip and i've passed pits (with no cats
) twice in under 12mnths. IMHO its not that loud at all but does sound fairly raspy. Doesnt help that the exhaust leak is getting worse and making it sound truck spec though!!
I drive past plenty of police daily (a busy police station too!) and while most give you the look, they do SFA.. Last time i was yellowed it was for the seats and they overlooked the exhaust...
