P.S i just got a reply back from the vendor that sold the material to me:
"
I would just leave it alone. It’s a pretty resistant material. After a while, you’ll see it turning white in certain areas and it will look like it’s fading where you touch it the most. This is just skin cells and grease being built up. Clean it once a year with ethyl alcohol in these areas and a soft bristle brush to keep it looking new. Oh, and don’t bring food in the car :-)"
