Travis Pastrana practices ahead of the big jump - Click above to watch the video after the break
"Hey, I think that'll buff out." So says Travis Pastrana, a surprisingly cool customer shortly after
misjudging the speed required to clear a giant gap in his Subaru WRX STI rally car. Of course, if you're going to engage in such shenanigans in the first place, you'd better be prepared to deal with the consequences, right?
You probably remember the
record-setting New Years Day jump off of a boat-mounted ramp, over 250-or-so feet of water, and onto another ramp floating on a barge. Well, as we had previously seen, Pastrana had plenty of practice before the main event, and Red Bull has kindly put together some behind-the-scenes footage showing exactly what goes into producing such a mind-boggling stung.
Motorcycles. Rally Cars. And Craziness. Absolute craziness. You know you want to watch, so
click here to see the video for yourself after the break.
