It's wired to a relay.. something to do with burning out the stock pump controller. Via the relay, it runs flat out all the time though because it bypasses the fuel pump controller.

There is no check valve, just a barbed fitting on the outlet connected to a rubber hose, which is connected to the hard-line on the fuel pump assembly.
