It's something we should really take back to the manufacturer as a complaint. They have some responsibility for encouraging owners to use the device if they install it as standard equipment for Aus cars and state how to use it in the handbook etc.

This is my first wrx and i never knew about such fog lamp rules in Australia.
All car manufacturers should take the responsibility in telling us about the rules before selling us the car.
Lucky for me, the cop only gave me a warning instead of dishing out the $250 fine and 3 demerits.
