Update 15.02.2010.

So car went to get tuned today after the wastegate springs finally arrived. Wastegate pressure is set at 1.5 bar, so just as the power tune was started we heard the clutch slipping at 4500 rpm and at wastegate pressure. We thought that it might have been the DCCD causing the slip, but as in everything i touch i always have to do it the hard way...

On the plus side the graph has been dramatically moved to the left, and the huge amount of torque at 4500rpm generated now on this setup is just way to much that the tilton twin plate clutch can handle. Ive posted the slipping clutch plot (thin lines) against my old race fuel tune plot (bathroom spec for an anomyous fella that requested it lol)... So on race fuel we should be able to pull even more spool...

So the tilton twin plate (600 LB-FT CAPACITY)) seems could handle the power when the setup was laggier, but cant handle the torque of the new setup...

What does this mean, basically i need to get myself a tilton tripple plate clutch. I want to stick with the push design as i have the hyrdalic clutch system now and have removed the slave cyclinder. In anycase i cant afford to buy a new clutch but am hoping i can just buy plates to equal a tripple clutch? not sure how or if this could work. Otherwise ill be driving around until i get some money together to replace the clutch...
