Still, it's not going down anytime soon, or at all. We're stuck with prices hovering between $1.20 and $1.50 for the forseeable future, until it goes up to the $2 bracket.
It's changing lifestyles. Already I've pretty much stopped giving a shit about cars, I still have my project SSS that will get the occasional squirt on weekends, and instead of getting that WRX we wanted, we bought a brand new Mazda 2. Between the wife and I we're on a pretty damn good wicket, and we just can't justify running a big car these days. Makes me wonder how people on lower income brackets put up with it.
Guess it's a change of priorities all around.
