Pretty sure waterspray is best for TMIC's, specially when you've been heatsoaking them for a few minutes. I've got mine so that it comes on only when boost is at or over 14pound.

Wouldn't harm on a FMIC though, but not as useful as what it would be on a TMIC. The whole point of a FMIC is to avoid that heatsoak from the motor so you wouldn't get the result margin compared to a TMIC.

For FMIC spray, you kinda wanna be spraying upwards so the air then disperses it into the FMIC core. You don't want to be spraying directly into it as it will only mist a tiny part of it and would be next to useless.
