Ecutek is just a reflash of the stock
ECU, so you will still be using your mass air flow sensor.
Ideally you would want to at least run it up on the dyno so the tuner can check it's not knocking or boost spiking. If that's not an option it would be a bit of a risk blasting it around the track all night.
