+1 for DS3000's. I have run them up front in my car(s) for the last 3-4 years.
Yes, they are very dusty (Ive given up cleaning my front rims) and do squeal a bit but it doesnt bother me because the car stops really well. Oh, they chew rotors a bit too.
I run standard sti rotors all round, had no dramas at all, would like to fit up some braided lines sometime in my sti, had them in my old wrx and it all helps for a solid, consistent pedal feel (along with master cylinder support).
So, to answer the question, I'd go oem rotors or DBA4000's and some pads considering how you use the car, how much stopping power you want/need and how much you can afford.
