Don't come and see me this weekend, we're going to Targa South West to help a mate.

You can't go over the alternator as it's already very close to the bonnet. The alternator gets flipped over on it's mount to sit where the AC compressor is now. You delete the AC altogether. You will have to make a custom alternator adjuster bracket and a idler pulley to keep the belt away from the throttle body and intake pipe.
It is a lot of fabrication work, and it will cost a small fortune unless you can DIY or get mates to do it cheap.
