How is your home theatre room setup? Does it allow for proper staging and imaging of the recording?
If you're serious enough to look at valve amps for your hifi setup, that setup should be in a room that is gonna give the amp (and the music being played) a fighting chance to sound it's best. Trying to get the best out of your hifi arrangement will always be compromised by any attempt at accomodating for home theatre (through my experience at least).
