Default Twin-scroll turbos

In order to get rid of the lag monster that is Black Budgie it has been suggested to go to a twin-scroll setup. Currently it has a rotated GT3582R which has a T3 flange. I'd like to get a replacement turbo that also has a T3 flange so installation isn't a big drama but was wondering the following things:

Is a twin-scroll T3 the same as a regular T3?

If not, do the headers need to be replaced in order to go twin-scroll or is some sort of adaptor plate available that can be welded on?

How much better (ie less lag) would a twin scroll GT3582R be over a regular GT3582R?

Or am I better off getting a regular GT32R or something?

In short, I want the least lag, most power and bolt-on capability with my existing setup!! (don't want much do I??)
