that sounds promising, i think the registration crap will have to be clarified by the DPI as the car happens to be in Vic but registered in NSW so who knows what the laws are there i mean he may need to mail off transfer papers to NSW yet...

Does anyone know the specific name for the permit required to drive an unregistered car across Australia? Reason im asking is a search of these forums brings up conflicting results on weither its even required and its probably easier if i look into the permit to find out the criteria that would see me needing one...
