CEL coming on redline might suggest a fuel cut from your
ECU. Was there a huge jerk when the CEL came on?
And by redline u said, is at which point on redline? 7000rpm to 9000rpm is redline zone. If u are hitting 8500rpm and the CEL throws, i will say fuel cut.
