Ohh and one of the most important things is to NEVER use one of those cheap foam sponge things. NEVER.

They do far more harm than good. You dont realise until later down the track, but big cause of scratches and swirls. After you've just spent 15K+ on a car, dont skimp and spend 2 bucks on a sponge!

Use a hand wool mitten (glove). Easy to find, cheap, Meg's make a couple of good ones and they do make a difference. Ohh and it pays to use the "2 bucket method". One with car wash + water and one with clean water for the hand mitten after u wash over each panel.

Hardly a science but the more effort you put in, the better your car comes up
