The interesting thing about this is, if this crime was committed in the USA, because of the felony muurder rule, the dead robber's accomplice would be charged with murder. I think there was a recent case in Florida, 4 guys attempted to car jack someone, he shot one of them dead, he got off scott free and the 3 car jackers got charged with felony murder.
