I've played around with the HKS Kansai premium suction CAI as well as the factory airbox using the sti panel filter, zerosports elbow replacement and the Prova inner duct(replaces resonator).

Picked up 2psi peak boost and quietened the car considerably keeping the airbox.

Kansai setup sounds fantastic. Seat of the pants couldn't tell a difference however.
