I swapped the airbox back into my car just for the hell of it and did some logging. It's much quieter than the CAI that's for sure, but I was dissapointed with the performance though.

After looking at the logs it was obvious that intake temps rise much higher and stay higher for longer if you sit at the lights for even a few seconds. High intake temps mean it's harder to make boost and you run reduced timing, so it feels slower.

I will try to get some lower temperature logs eventually so I can compare against the CAI.
