Yeah definately notify your bank you are going... wouldn't want them to cancel you cards on you because they see transactions happening overseas.

I got a phonecall when i was in Bali last time asking me if I was withdrawings money overseas... Lucky they rang first because they were about to cancel my cards and put a stop on my account.
