It's the lateral g's that forces the oil up the side of the head. To get those sorts of G's you'll be throwing the car into the corners pretty hard.

The catchcan I'm using has a drain plug on the bottom with a hose, with a little modification to the dipstick/sump you could quite easily implement a drain.
