ahh righteo...thanks. Just to jump back on the K&N story...how could they be such a prominent brand if they cause so many problems for AFMs? Is that reputation possibly a symptom of consumers unknowingly over-oiling the filter after they've cleaned it? I only suggest that as my previous car had one and it never ever had issues with the AFM, and the filter was in there for about 5yrs...
