People,

Does anyone here know if the Australian Will kits you get from places like the Post Office are legit, binding documents, in all states and territories? (Im assuming yes).

Moreso, how do they work if you already have a will, but want to update, dissolve the previous one.... etc.

Lastly, I have a friend that doesnt really have any family, (be it blood or by marriage), and was questioning if you elect to leave assets/possessions to 'the state' - can the family overturn this if you were to pass?

Any legal beagles here? Preferably ones that have drawn up own documents, or have used aforementioned kit.
