Simply put it Wont happen unless ur CAMS affliated club.

I tried hard to get a non-tmed event at collie and after jumping through many hoops was able to do so.

Plus the cost to do a timed event almost doubles.. Not worth it imo unless ur group has motorsport accreditation to do so..
