sound is definitely coming from the alternator, and i've replaced both belts with new, its nothing really worrying, just wanted to see if anyone had the same problems.

also another noise is occurring, its more of a random clacking noise coming from the engine/ gearbox area. it only happens when its at operating temp, and anywhere from about 2k rpm and all load levels, even decelerating.. I cant, for the life of me, figure out what it is!

it's like the sound of a big detonation/ knock... its not running hot...

oh and its an auto too.
