"Aboriginal" is as descriptive as "White" hence discriminatory.

"Indigenous Australian" and "Caucasian" - the media is a useless example of what is "legal" or "correct" or . . . even worse "politically correct".

Aboriginal is an attempt to put all indigenous Australians into one group - imagine if all Caucasian Europeans tribes were labelled as "Euro's". I'm sure the Greeks, French, Germans and the Italians and ... well ...
