It's pretty easy, people will mention upper engine cleaner... But all you need to do is rev the car when cold to its max revs. It will bounce on the limiter which will cause all the crap stuck in the engine and exhaust to be removed out the exhaust. Whilst doing this, quickly sidestep the clutch. If the car grips up it confirms the clutch is adjusted correctly and the plates do not need replacing.
Normally that alone is $200 on my bills and takes all of 1 minute to do.
